(Students Praying for Awakening and Revival on Campus)

Hello everyone!! Well, I’m honored to inform you that our God has immeasurable power.

On November 4th -5th at Liberty Barn Church (7080 Olentangy River Road Delaware, OH 43015), college students from all over Ohio are meeting to pray and fast for God to intervene in Ohio and cause an awakening. Registration begins at 8:00PM on the 4th, Things will get going with some worship and a speaker at 9:00PM. On Saturday, up by 9AM with more worship, prayer, fellowship, etc and out of the church at 9PM that night. Leaving early or coming late? Come and go as necessary.

I would like to remind us all that this is for ALL students in Ohio who believe in and follow Jesus, and would like to pray for His Spirit to sweep across Ohio and on our campuses with revival and awakening! So please let friends at other campuses know about it and let the word spread like wildfire. If you'd like pre-made flyers to hang up on your campuses or in your area, email ohiosparc@yahoo.com

Our responsibility lies only in providing the opportunity- paving the way- for people to come. We are to be like John the Baptist, making way for the King to move. Remember that our time is now severely limited, as we now only have about a month to get word to the whole state. This is the time in which we must rise to the occasion, it is clutch time- crunch time. 'The time for talk and half measures is over,' as Maximus (Gladiator) would put it.

As if I need to underline it, but prayer is our most valuable weapon, so let's use it for all it's worth!

Can you feel it? God is moving- the time is now, our roles are crucial. Let's rock and roll!!!!

Sis in JC,
Leanne Wilson

Joel 1:14-15 “14Announce a time of fasting; call the people together for a solemn meeting. Bring the leaders and all the people into the Temple of the LORD your God, and cry out to him there. 15The day of the LORD is on the way, the day when destruction comes from the Almighty. How terrible that day will be!”

Sup. Because Gina reminded me about our happy little community, I thought I'd post.

I'm really amused about the fact that only about 3ish posts before this one, I was talking about being a Frosh. HAHAHAAA. I am obviously not a freshman anymore, but now a Sophomore. WOO!

I know it's a long shot since this community definitely isn't catering to heavy internet traffic, but I figure it's worth a try anyway..

I'm a grad. as of this year, and as I'm preparing to move into a new apartment, I'm finding myself with TONS of books that I a)no longer want, and b)no longer need. I was a History/Political Science double major (aka: Aristotle, Plutarch, Russeau, Guelzo, Federalist papers, McCullough, MacPherson, etc..), but I've also got quite a few Shakespeare plays (King Lear, The Tempest (x2), Measure for Measure, Richard II, Henry IV part one, Hamlet, and Henry V), an "Art and Ideas" text book (I'm pretty sure they're still using this one), a Business 100 text book (2003 edition.. Not sure if they're still using it), and a Lifetime Wellness text book.

If you live anywhere in the Cleveland area and would be interested in meeting up and taking them off my hands, I'm willing to give whatever I've got to the first person who asks. I don't want 'em, and because of their nature they'll probably just be tossed if I try to take them to Goodwill. This way they'll hopefully at least still get some use.

If interested, respond to this post or come find me on my own journal :)

Are there any incoming freshmen reading this? I'll be a junior, but feel free to introduce yourselves and ask questions if you have any.

I hope everyone is having a great summer! :o)

Edit: My personal journal is friends-only, but if anyone here wants to add me, feel free. I'll add you back! ;o)

Hello. My name is Jamie, I just graduated from Falls this year, and am an incoming freshman. I figured LJ has just about anything to find as far as interests, go, and found out that I'm not the only one with Ashland University as an interest. ^_^

Just a question to any other freshies: have you found out who your room mate(s) is yet? I haven't, and don't know if I should know by now... 0.0?

Hi. [27 Mar 2004|11:48pm]

Looks like I'm the first person to discover this community. I feel a little odd making the first post, but oh well...haha.

My name is Gina, I'm a freshman intervention specialist major in the College of Education, and I live in Amstutz. I'm involved with Phi Mu and work for The Collegian.

I guess that's it...hope more people come across this so my post isn't the only one forever and ever! :o/
